1. Introduction

Our website, https://www.aiosyn.com (hereinafter: "the website"), is operated by Aiosyn B.V. This policy describes which cookies and similar technologies the website uses, and which it does not. How we handle personal data more generally is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store on your device, and that your browser sends back on later visits. Local storage, session storage, scripts, web beacons and device fingerprinting achieve the same thing by other means: they store information on your device, or read information from it. Wherever this policy says "cookies", it means all of these.

3. Cookies placed by this website

None. This website places no cookies of its own, and uses no local storage, session storage or fingerprinting. It sets no statistics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it embeds no third-party content that would set them.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the website you asked for (section 5), we do not need to ask for your consent, and this website shows no cookie banner.

4. How we measure the use of our website

We want to know which pages are read and which are not, so that we can maintain the website in line with what visitors look for. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for this. It loads a small script from Cloudflare that reports each page view. It stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it: no cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting, and no identifier that would allow us to recognise you on a later visit or on another website. Cloudflare states that it uses no client-side state and no fingerprinting to track visitors.

Per page view it reports the address of the page (without the query string), the address of the page you came from, and general properties of the request such as browser, operating system, device type and country. Your IP address reaches Cloudflare as part of the request, as it does with any request to any website. Cloudflare derives an approximate country from it and handles it under its own privacy policy. It is not shown to us: we see aggregated totals only, without IP addresses.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. 5. Strictly necessary cookies

Our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, and our enquiry forms are protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. To serve pages and to tell human visitors from bots, Cloudflare may place the cookies below. They are necessary to provide the service you requested, so no consent is required for them, and they are not used for statistics, advertising or profiling.

Which of these appear depends on the security checks a request triggers, so you may see none of them. For more information, please read the Cloudflare cookie documentation.

6. Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies

You can use your internet browser to delete cookies automatically or manually, and to specify that certain cookies may not be placed. For more information about these options, please refer to the instructions in the Help section of your browser. Since this website places no cookies of its own, blocking them changes nothing here, other than that blocking the strictly necessary cookies in section 5 may make our enquiry forms, or the website itself, unavailable to you.
