Artificial intelligence is a revolutionary technology, but with great power comes great responsibility. At Aiosyn, we develop state-of-the-art AI solutions to help doctors better diagnose complex diseases like cancer and ultimately improve patients’ lives. We are looking for a core member of our engineering team, a highly motivated individual that develops this vision into a great product.
What your responsibilities would look like
- R&D: design and execute plans to develop novel AI-powered solutions for customers and clinical partners in the field of computational pathology.
- AI: design, select, implement, train, and test state-of-the-art deep learning models that solve challenging tasks in pathology.
- Data: collect, organize, and process anonymized medical data for the purpose of AI training and inference at scale, including managing the annotation process.
- Cloud computing: the AI models you develop will run in the cloud at-scale. You will work together with our engineering time to make your solutions available from everywhere and at any time.
- Regulatory: write and manage technical documentation associated with our medical devices and the AI solutions you create, and support the team running clinical trials.
- Software development: write efficient high-quality code to make our products excellent, following the best practices of software engineering.
What your background looks like
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant field related to medical image analysis, or relevant background (MSc in computer science, artificial intelligence) combined with 3+ years of experience working as an AI engineer, data scientist, deep learning engineer, or similar.
- Experience conducting research about AI models to solve medical tasks. First-author publications in relevant journals are a plus.
- Experience developing a research asset into a commercial product.
- Broad knowledge of the field of computational pathology: common tasks, organs, tools, formats, standards, models, pitfalls, literature, etc.
- Familiar with quality management systems, technical documentation, and regulatory requirements (ISO13485, CE IVDR, etc.).
- Comfortable with Python, AWS, Terraform, Git, deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow or Pytorch, Docker.
